Develop

This comprises the development, end-to-end design, financing, realization and marketing of projects of all types. This includes public-private partnerships as well as property development–from design/planning and financing through marketing–either as a complete package or in the form of individual services. In Germany and a number of other countries, EPCS experts develop state-of-the-art commercial properties. Creating a future-oriented building frequently requires substantial investment. EPCS handles all project-related financial services. Our specialists develop and optimize financing structures and coordinate these with international banking partners and investors.

EPCS's finance service also advises and supports the Group's subsidiaries and associated companies worldwide in connection with transaction negotiations–from initial planning to closure.

Build

This comprises traditional construction operations as well as construction management in the areas of building, civil engineering and infrastructure development. EPCS not only performs construction and supervision works, but also the planning and insurance of projects as well as consultancy services–either as a complete package or in the form of individual solutions.

Construction is EPCS's core competence. Our range comprises traditional construction business and construction management in the fields of building construction, civil engineering and infrastructure facilities. It includes services such as the procurement of required materials which, from a strategic perspective, ideally complement the construction business before, during and after the building works.

Before construction commences, EPCS offers its clients a complete service package. This can include, for instance, all design and planning work–from obtaining the necessary official approvals through the preparation of a detailed concept for the building site logistics. Insurance services

Insuring projects and project risks is part of our planning portfolio. We offer customized insurance services to all operative Group units and external project partners. We have generated added value for EPCS, and hence our clients, by making this strategic addition. Insurance cover is not only available for real estate projects, but also for all operation services. Clients, owners and end users can even turn to EPCS after completion of the construction phase to take out insurance against risks such as fire and interruption of operations.

Concessions and operation business

EPCS is geared to sustainable and profitable growth. We prove this in our intensive activities in the long-term-oriented concessions and operation business. One competence center mainly operates in Australia and Southeast Asia. It is consistently developing its leading position as an operator and manager in the contract mining sector.

With our partner’s subsidiary, we have stakes in roads, schools, police facilities, service centers, military bases, cultural facilities and geothermal energy projects worldwide. We closely cooperate group wide in reaping synergies in market development, business planning, special operator responsibilities and other technical areas–making us a strong partner for our clients.

How can projects and innovations be effected that are necessary but difficult to finance? EPC Solutions PPP Solutions finds the answers. Working with us our clients realize infrastructural projects for which we arrange everything from financing to planning and construction to operation from a single source—no matter whether the project in hand is a new school or administration building, a tunnel, a highway, or an innovative energy project. The added value for the client is obvious. First and foremost, it is often only through public-private partnership (PPP) that many solutions become financially feasible—and completion is faster as well.

In the long term too, projects have proven to be economical, efficient and sustainable. This is due to the fact that on projects, one entity is responsible for all services from financing to operation.
